” We stopped here while cycling the Coast andCastle Route down the Northumberland Coast. The accommodation is comfortable, with a mixture of room types, and the lounge and kitchen are finished to a very high standard, with free tea, coffee,milk, bread and cereals for guests. The nearby bar has a very wide drinks menu, and there are good places nearby to eat and shop. The reception staff are very welcoming and helpful, and there is secure bike storage.  “

” We were amazed by the staff, the attention to detail and cleanliness of the lodge. We are so glad we stayed while we were walking the Northumberland coastal path. Easily accessible by bus.

Lots of books and local guide books (some available to purchase) on cycling, walking, nature etc in the lodge; a kitchen with a view; next door to the market huts and a fish restaurant. Some locals fishing on the nearby pier at night. A beautiful place. We would love to return! “

” We absolutely love the Radcliffes lodges, this is our 2nd time staying and it certainly won’t be our last. The rooms are a fantastic size, always super clean and the staff are always so helpful and friendly. The kitchen and lounge area upstairs is a fantastic space which is well equipped and a great way to meet other people staying at the lodges. It’s central location makes it perfect for exploring Amble and the amazing coastline… We just love it! “
